Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking
Understand how attacks work and how to defend against them, with hands-on practice in a safe, isolated lab.
Starts
Saturday, 12 December 2026
Saturdays, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Course overview
A practical course in protecting systems, networks and web applications. You will learn the attacker's toolkit only so that you can defend against it: every exercise runs in an isolated lab environment, never on real systems.
The course follows the topics of BCRP's book Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity and prepares you for entry-level industry certifications.
What you will learn
- Explain the main cyber threats facing organisations in Bangladesh
- Use Linux, Nmap, Wireshark and Burp Suite in a lab
- Find and fix common web vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
- Harden systems and configure basic defences
- Respond to an incident and preserve digital evidence
- Plan a path towards Security+ or CEH certification
